I'm looking for an adjustable rear control arm for my 1995 Legacy. I need to get a little more length than the stock one in order to compensate for the damage the rear carrier took in my accident. the car has been fixed as much as is possible without replacing the carrier, and I just can't afford a new car right now, despite what I had been thinking a while ago, (heating oil stole my paltry budget.) So... anyone know of anything? I'd rather not use a fixed length, but longer control arm because I'll need to experiment with lengths to find the right setup.

Pretty much any Impreza (93-07) links will work however... 93-01 is within spec of the Gen 1/2 Legacy. 02-07 has a wider stance so this will push your stance out further.

To be safe 93-01 Impreza adjustable links is most likely what you need but before you make the purchase you will have to double check the end link mounting style.

Companies like Whiteline / Perrin / Meugen / etc... make these.

PM Reason / 4Zero1Motorsports .. he has a laundry list of companies and products he can offer you.

But the real question is how hard would it be for you to swap the rear subframe and stock links? These are a dime a dozen at a u-pull wrecker. Pretty easy if you can transport the entire rear end.. a few bolts and removing the ebrake cables.

it's not really the price or ease of part acquisition that's worrying me, it's the cost in labor. I can't afford to have my car out of commission for as long as it would take me to do this job, nor do I have a place out of the weather to do it, and I can't afford labor. My mechanic just did this job on a '99 Fozzie that had a rotted carrier, and he quoted me about 2 grand. Well, for that I could find another BK in better shape overall.
