a glimer drive is another type of gilmore belt drive they make a cool sound ive herd a few WRX's here with them but can only seem to find V8 ones oh is the exurst manifold the same on single cam as twin id realy like to get rid of factory ones as it has a heavy fake cat on it

i was thinking of putting a turbo on but it skids up enuf as it is i looked at AWD but what a mish swaping it over

I didn't understand one bit of this.

So the belt thing is just a noisemaker?

And the exhaust manifold (we call them headers) doesn't have any "fake cat" on it. It bolts to a 2-part catalytic converter section (both parts are 100% functional) but is separate from them. And for the EJ25, all headers are the same. There were variances between early and late EJ22s. You haven't given us any model or drivetrain information, so its kind of hard to help you more specifically.

Gilmer belt are a style of belt like timing belt. There for running critical components at high rpm with no slippage in auto applications . There for running timing, dry sump and superchargers really. The belts have more noise then v-belt styles

well this is the 1st subaru ive touched most of them are lemons so im new to this give me a V8 any day and i aint no kid but thanks to the helpfull people out there not my fautl i live in a small country where we dont get good aftermarket stuff if i was in ozzy i wouldnt need to be on here lol
