2nd gen single port headers...

Was there ever a compatible market to begin with? All I find is the dual port exhaust manifolds everywhere, kinda disappointing. After dropping a new motor in I figured Id see what I can find but nothing comes up, so it looks to me like I can either run the factory exhaust manifolds to a new exhaust or have new manifolds made, which Im sure would not be cheap...

Now if I did choose to go the fabricating route, what would be most recommended in size per side, and then connecting both sides to the end flange?

Did they make aftermarket single-port headers? yes Can you find some? It's like finding the Holy Grail

Borla offered some and you can usually find them for about $200-250 used now depending on condition but then the welds crack. My buddy might still have his set for $250 with the welds redone
Some people do make runs on rs25 and I think nasioc but they can run $300-400...I'll get a link once I find it
Used ones are really hard to come by.

To make your own you can use 2.5" piping and use an adapter like the link below to make things a little easier. Can't find the 2.5 to 2.5 but its exactly like this:

I am the reason you guys have that version of the single port header.

I worked with this guy in getting these headers made. I bought supers version of the header on the last group buy on RS25 couple years ago. I then started helping at my buddies shop and the guy who made these headers came by and asked if he could use my 2.2 single port UEL as a jig.

This is the outcome.
