keeping stock diameter

tip sizes have always irritated me so i thought id just ask if i want to replace my 1998 bg rims the limited 5 spoke 15 205 70 15 with a larger rim but keep the same overall diameter so i read the same speed what tires would i use for 17" rims and also possibly 18" rims ? :smt026

215/45/R17 for 17's... Little to no rubbing with being lowered about 2"

205/55/R16 for 16's... This is stock for 97-99 GT's...
