I'd like to check out and see the different led tail lights I could get for my BD from Japan.

Bulbs or custom built only... As far as I know...

AFAIK you're right Dead, aftermarket LED tails didn't happen until the 4th gen. Even then, mostly for wagons.

Well there all custom built ones that are for the second gens, I just know there's people who make custom ones in Japan that's why I'm asking. Also would like some pics if yawl have any of ones for sale or what not.

There's 1 or 2 people/shops that sell them on Yahoo but right now only for the third gen, and they're pricey, don't expect change from $300 and that's before you ship them.

These, for example have a starting bid of $500, if you want the centre garnish it'll be $1200.

Yeah I'd want the center one to if it matches the corner ones.

Is there any videos or books or magazines that show a DIY on them?

Just get the parts needed and give it a try on some extra lights.

You should just see what other people use in there cars. Fine out what Audi or what other car makers have for replacements. ever 3rd brake lights have LED's in them. I know some guy on here have done some cool stuff with cluster lighting as well.

I myself cant stand LED head or tail lights, but thats just my eyes that dont like them.

If I was you, I would find a dirt cheap tail light and take it apart (baking) and then see what will fit first. then find a source for the lights.
