Hello everybody, my name is Joaquin, and I just joined!
I'm not new to Subaru (currently drive a 2003 WRX), but I will be getting my first Legacy in the next couple weeks, so I thought it would be nice to join this forum for some insight on my build, and to share it with like minded people.
My Legacy is going to be a 1997 Brighton Wagon 5-spd, and I plan to do some tasteful cosmetic modifications, and a few suspension/brake things. I'll start a build thread when I get home (I'm in Afghanistan) and post some pics.

Quick question, I have a ton of parts that came off of my '03 WRX (sedan), would any of it be useful towards this Legacy? Of course, my stock WRX wheels are going to be the first thing I put on the car!
Complete exhaust, manifold/up/down/catback
TD04 turbo/stock TMIC and BPV
F+R Brake calipers/rotors
F+R sway bars
F+R seats
Fuel Pump
SPT short throw shifter
KartBoy F+R shifter bushings (spare set)

Welcome!
Most of the parts on your list fit the legacy.
The turbo kit and the front sway bar require you to use a turbo front cross member and the rear sway requires some cutting.

Welcome. I can verify the brakes will bolt on. I have 04 wrx brakes on my 98. Front seats will bolt right in. Rears will work with some mods if they are from a wagon.

Boxer Wagon, your Brighton is really clean! After seeing your wheels, I think I'm going to paint my WRX wheels the same color. Mine isn't white though, so we'll see how it looks against spruce pearl.

Oh cool, you'll be in a pretty nice area to meet some Legacy members. I even visit down in that area every once in awhile.

You should definitely check out the SLi: Maryland meet we are cooking up around your area, that would be a great way to meet a bunch of the members in the area.
