I know it's going to need some modification, but what does the whole thing require? Reason i'm asking is my friend is giving me his set. I currently have stock equal length.

its just not going to work. at all. the amount of modification and cost to get it there, you can just go buy a set of headers made for your car. and your basically going to be making a custom set of headers from scratch modifying the wrx headers.

+1. You can get headers for $120 on eBay. you'll probably spendmore modifying the wrx one

I'm getting these for free from a friend, I have dual port heads so bolting them up that end shouldn't be a problem. Also I know I have to get my exhaust redone right after the header, which I need to get done anyways. So where else would the concern be?

Well, you need a turbo first off....The headers are made for turbo setups only. They're also designed to clear turbo crossmembers. Even with modifications, they may not work with a non-turbo crossmember.

I'm obviously not using the up pipe lol. I know there's modification but exactly to what.

From what I read basically the outlet just needs to be extended and the flange flipped around, wanted to make sure this is true.

Looking at images of turbo Subaru exhaust headers, it looks like the exhaust routing faces completely the wrong way. I guess if you modified the catalytic converters too, it could work, but I don't see this being worth it.
