Ok , I was looking into doing an STI swap on my BE and I was going to have ECS do the transmission , motor swap , and wiring. Has anyone on the form had them Do any work on a car and would you recommend them for doing what I said I wanted done ... Just wanted to know if I could trust them to rip my car apart.

They do great work. Lots of members use them.

If you seem comfortable with wrenching you can save $1000's if you just send your wiring harness + donor harness to ECS/iWire/Zepher/ or any other.

Everything else is just nuts and bolts.

Thank you very much for getting back with me , I am in no way confident with wiring so I will probably have them do it , as far as wrenching goes its just a matter of tracking down parts.

So that being said the common route to wiring harness send outs are as follows.

1) Choose your engine and acquire the proper harness
- Pull your entire BODY harness . Toss your ECU and non-turbo engine harness
- Acquire a non-cut engine harness and matching ECU from the turbo-engine you've choosen

2) Contact wiring specialist

3) Explain the situation to your wiring specialist
- Donor engine harness + Your Legacy Body Harness
- What electronics you wish to retain or add

4) Ship them both harnesses

5) Wait for package to arrive with documentation and plug n' play.
