Hi guys, My name is Brandon and I live in the Bay Area California. I have lurked and leeched a lot of helpful info from you guys and I would really like to be more involved with the forum. This community is so nice and helpful, I figured it was time to be fully apart of it. I have owned my 92 Legacy L wagon for almost 6 years now, and have done many things to it... I have also undone many things to it lol. Bought it as a bone stock 2.2L A/T FWD with about 176K on it. I belive the odometer reads 250K+ now but I havent driven it in over a year. Over the years I have replaced things like bushing, ball joints, tie rods, Rack and pinnion, Power steering pump, timing belt/ water pump, Wheel bearings, and fluids to get it back into and keep it in shape. Notable upgreades would be KYB AGX sturts and Ground Control coilover sleeves, MSD coil pack, 3" cat back from a WRX (did have to make an adapter pipe), Home made short ram intake w/ K&N cone, Coverted to AWD, A failed atempt at building a turbo ready EJ22 in my garage(wiesco pistons to drop CR to 8.5-1 and Eagle H-beam rods), Ported and polished EJ22 SOHC,and diff combo's of stero equipment. The car curently sits in my garage torn apart from the seats forward. After I swapped an EJ25D into the car and ran it for 6 months it started having this strange overheating problem. I decided to to the build how I wanted this time and gutted the thing. I'm attempting what I'd like to call a mild wire tuck (like what the honda guys do but not to that extreme) and a cleaned up engine compartment. My plans for putting it back together include a hybrid EJ22T block w/ EJ25D heads, FMIC, AEM F/IC, AEM UEGO, AEM Boost controller, 5MT swap, WRX 4 pot bracks, SS bumper cover, 17x8 rims of some sort lol. I plan on painting it back to the factory color, Onyx Metallic, cause I stupdly did a rattle can paint job awhile back ( looked great for a little but now I get so mad when I look at it lol). The build is ever changing and getting more complex, but with the great help and info I am getting here @ SL-i I am getting it done. I look forward to questions and comments on the build so feel free to chim in. Here are a few pics I dug up for this post, hope to have more soon Thanks guys

nice machine, really like where you are going with it. It has an awesome stance and the flat black looks killer on it!

HA yea i achived that stance with cut spring... not my best choice. I did like the flat black, but sense it was just primer it faded bad. I did see a DYI write up of a guy who just painted his 1st gen with plastidip. looked good.

I am painting it back to factory color (Oynx Metalic) but I havent completley made up my mind if I wanna do the compartment in body color or not. I've seen them done both ways and like them both. I think the deciding factor will be how much money I have when I buy paint, 1Color or 2 colors

Agian thank you guys for the kind words and ecourgment. Anytime I've ever lost intrest in my project, I spend some time on SL-i and I'm right back at it.
