Howdy folks.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is buried somewhere in here, but I couldn't find it. Which model years of the WRX and STi have struts/springs that are compatible with the '05 to '09 Legacys? I suspect the front hub bolt spacing is different for STi units (other than '04s), but it seems like the rest should work if it is from the correct era...

Thanks, Doug

perhaps 08+ WRX. not STi.

The fronts you could actually use any Impreza since they are all the same, though technically 02+ Impreza are "more" compatible. (arbitrary discussion of rotating the front tophats, though they spin anyways)

the rears are probably compatible though I don't have any fully formed results yet. I'm trying to convert my 03 Legacy wagon to 5x114 with STI hubs and suspension. So far the only things ive confirmed for this particular mix-match is that the rear tophats on the STi are wider (bolts spaced further apart) so I will have to use some other top hats. I havent looked at 08+ WRX ones yet to say if they are the same the legacy (narrower) or the same at the STi.
