Hey all, name's Matt if you haven't guessed and I'm from Ladysmith Virginia but frequently can be seen in Fredericksburg where I work. Long time lurker and semi-new to the Legacy scene. Bought my LS back in early October of this year for $700 and it was in need of some TLC. I had a budget of $1500 to buy a used car for my occasional commutes that I needed to make when my wife was using my other car (2000 Mazda Protege). Honestly I was desperately trying to buy a MX-6 but for the price of the Leggy I couldn't pass it up. Now I am in love with it! Since buying it, I have replaced the front right wheel bearing, front left ball joint, changed engine oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs and wires to NGK, run Seafoam through it a few times, replaced bits and pieces in the interior, replaced the beat up stock head unit with a JVC unit I had laying around, 4EAT powermode mod,custom fabric door cards, repaired a large crack in the red emblem on the trunk lid. Hopefully I will have time and money to paint the car and completely re-do the sound system and throw some Fozzy suspension bits on it for a modest lift. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing the wealth of knowledge that this and other forums have to offer. NOW ON TO THE PICS!

Engine bay after a morning cleaning, had to replace a bad PCV hose.

Installed head unit and painted the surrounding faceplates but didn't like the look so I will be getting a woodgrain upper and still not sure what to do with the lower since that piece isn't available at the junkyard.

Since I don't smoke and frequently drive on 95 I installed a CB where the ashtray was and it has gotten me out of three traffic jams already lol

The trunk lid logo that was damaged and repaired. The olive paint was a test to see how it looks, I like it so I think thats what I will change the whole paint over to.
