Hello all! I've been a car and bike nut forever, finally got the Subaru i've been wanting for a while and it was sort of by accident.
I picked up a 1998 Legacy GT 2.5 5 speed sedan with the typical blown head gasket as well as some cosmetic damage to the front driver side corner.
My 2008 Mini Cooper S has a blown motor right now i'm fixing over the winter, and my winter beater has been a 2000 Lincoln LS...was browsing on craigslist and came across this Legacy for cheap, and got it for even cheaper since it has a blown headgasket the owner wasn't aware of.
Pics coming soon, already made a drive to Mass. to get a used hood, fender, seats, random interior pieces, extra set of heads...etc etc. Got the Felpro gasket set in the mail friday, timing kit, short throw shifter, shifter bushings, and driver side headlight.
It's silver now with a black leather interior.
