Hey folks - I'm new to Suby's and the forum.

I'm normally a North American Domestic Muscle guy (I've got a Fox mustang with over 500rwhp)

But I had this suby fall into my lap at an incredible price!


details on the car -
1996 Subaru Legacy Japan spec
Imported from New Zeland
EJ20 Twin turbo motor
Auto
full Bilstein suspension

and aside from that its completely stock.

I'm in the midst of doing a complete motor swap on it (as the original motor had a valve issue and was left out in the rain for a year with no intake on it :S)
So.... I'm in need of some help to find JDM parts for it (motor mounts and such)

I'd love to post some pics - but I don't have any on my computer at the moment - but will post them when I have an opportunity.

existing motor - if you can look closely - you can see the water sitting in the intake runners.... idiot left the car out in the rain in BC for a year.... with no upper intake on it.

I had an '88 Foxbody aswell!
Mine created a little under 500, realisticly probably about 430RWHP/400FT.LBS to the wheels!

I had a 5.4L 331 Stroker crate engine, completely rebuilt, and a Tremec 3.73 trans!

I've got me a lil 83 fox - 331 stroker, Blown with 10lbs of boost and meth injected.

made 530 at the wheel - runs 10.90 in the 1/4!

I love the car - but I can only drive in the dry weather in the summer - not to mention - every time I take it out and beat on it - I break something. :( LOL

My Mustang wasn't built for racing, more of a show car.
My father had invested quite a bit of money in it, and it definately spun all the way through first, second, and third

She's in heaven now, after the countless hours of tears shed, I finally got over it, and forgave the buyer

We traded it for an 02' Lexus LS430 fully loaded & black on black.
The day after we got a call saying he hit something, me expecting a small ding,
I was 100% wrong, he hit a gaurdrail doing like 70. Destroying the front end.

Ah just telling the story breaks my heart!
