Howdy folks.

I gather that OB springs can be installed on Legacy length struts, so I am wondering whether I should look for LGT wagon springs or just use OBXT springs. Did LGT wagons have a stiffer suspension than OBXTs, factoring ride height out as much as possible?

Also, with the shorter Legacy struts, would stock LGT wagon springs result in a lower ride height than OBXT springs?

Thanks, Doug

This is all based of personal experience so it may vary from car to car....

I put King 2" lift springs on my 05obxt and gained about 3/4-1" of lift. I've heard the the xt sits 1" higher than the standard ob. I didn't do any side by side comparisons so I can't confirm that. If you put taller xt (or regular OB) springs on a shorter LGT shock, the taller spring will be under a significantly higher rate of compression than it should be which could lead to coil bind and probably a crappy ride in general. If you want to lower your OB, get LGT struts and the proper springs that go w those struts. I think you'll be happier w the end result
