Would a set of goodrich lines for a wrx fit a legacy? I thik they will, but does anyone have anyexperience? Thanks!

I think the only difference is how they clip onto the shock

Can anyone confirm this? I am going to install WRX brakes on my car, and want to know if I should get SS lines for the WRX or the Legacy.

I test-fitted a set of WRX brake lines to my '95 Legacy wagon when we were troubleshooting the brake fluid leaks. They fit fine, aside from where the line connects to the shock body. This is easily fixed with zip ties. :)

I would think that either SS line set should work fine...

I have swapped to WRX front calipers and WRX struts/springs all the way around, and yes the only difference in the lines is the connector in the middle. BD legacys I know for certain, maybe others, have a closed bracket the brake line goes through, then a clip goes over it holding the line in place, WRX struts have an open ended bracket, and I have no idea what the clip looks like. On my car, it looks a lot like 2 zip-ties.....

FYI tirerack sells one of the goodrich kits for BD's which fits perfectly, but if you ever planned on using a strut setup designed for a WRX then I'd buy the WRX line kit.

Worry less about the strut compatibility and more about the brake caliper compatibility with the line.
You can always snip the brake bracket in one place, bend it out and slide the brake line in, then unbend the bracket so it secures the line.

It's not a big deal.

ok, so wh would these ones specifically exclude the GT and wagon models? are the rear calipers bigger on the GT/wagon (bigger banjo bolts?)

so if im using my stock rear calipers, and 02-05 wrx struts, which ones will work? (that i can buy on amazon)
