Hi everyone,I have a 98 legacy outback and I just installed the eclipse navigation system the only problem I got into is I can't locate the speed pulse wire and I did my reseach on the forum but seen to be no any info to help me...
Is anyone out there know this information?

Are you talking about the VSS (variable speed sensor?)

if so its the wire that goes to the back of your speedo or the wire coming off the transmission.

Is the wire reads the speeds how fast you are traveling...

Yes that's the wire I'm looking for Cuzco without that my navigation system can't tell how fast I'm traveling....

grab a copy of the factory service manual.. open the wiring diagram section and trace the VSS signal.. it should go from the trans to the ecu to the cluster. so the path should be straight forward.
