It didnt have an aftermarket alarm did it? That can mess with things. Also is it auto or manual? H6 or H4?

6 cylinder or a 4 cylinder

And what I mean by alarm is, it might have had one and some how it's kill switch kicked in. Look under the dash to see if there is an alarm brain.

I bet the green diagnostic connectors are plugged together under the steering wheel. Find a pair of green connectors, and make sure that they are disconnected.

The black ones next to it should be disconnected as well, but won't actually cause problems.

If its a manual, it's an H4.

If the car is JDM, the system might be different...

Is this car OBDI or OBDII?

Well, sometimes when I'm working on cars that wont start, it sometimes is the immobilizer from an aftermarket alarm that no one knows about.

Look under the dash to see if there are any wires that dont look normal. Like zip ties that are out of place, butt connectors, scotch locks, extra leads. All of those are not normal for our cars.

Beyond that, then your getting into mechanical/electrical that is the car. If this is the case it could be a few things...

-clutch switch at the pedal
-bad starter relay
-blown main fuse
-missing ground

Could be a number of things...

maybe you have a bad starter...if the solenoid clicks and doesnt engage it could be that or one of the two other relays that click when you start your vehicle...and dead91 is completely right...there is alot going on in our cars when we turn the key.

Can be a lot of things, powerline to the starter(thick one that runs from the battery) starter relay (try tapping it with a rubber mallet while turning the key)
immobilizer, fuses and other relays.

Fuel? would be pretty hard to install the fuel lines wrong i think.
Is the fuelpump running? and is there any/enough gas in the tank?

jackdaroo

Dead91silvia

Have you made sure the fuel pump is running or has pressure?

pleaidestar

your fuel pump should prime itself...thats what the fuel pump relay does it opens up then clicks off when when the key is turned all the way to start, then your ignition relay opens and closes just like the fuel pump relay at the same time there is a purge solenoid that tells the fuel lressure regulator to send the maximum amount of fuel required for start up..you can test that too with some test leads. It might be hard to test that though with the limited access you have in that area

i have sort of tryed to test it but not to sort i have used the test mode set up to check it but dose not show any codes do you know how i would test it by hand

I think you can do it with test leads, there are some that have alligator Clips, go from the battery and determine witch pin is positive and negative. Touch them and if it clicks then it should be good, if not touch each pin in reverse. Either way a relay will open when power is applied.

I'm not sure if you can test those with a multi-meter, I have no idea how to use one other than testing open circuits.

But I'm not sure if your emission system is the same as the ones we have in the states.

Your paint code is on you vin. Plate under your hood, it will say color code and will probably be a 3 digit number.
