gen 3 grills

im looking for a new grill and have found some on ebay that say they are for 03 04 legacys
my question is, will they fit a 2000-02?

Yes all US BE/BH grilles will fit all other US BE/BH models, except for outback models. They will still fit into the mounting holes on the outbacks, but there will be a gap between the bottom of the grille and the bumper.

The reason it specifically says 03-04 is because it is a different design (a honeycomb design) than the 00-02.

Ah ok thats what i thought but i didnt want to spend $100 on something i cant use

I have an outback bumper on my BE with the stock lgtl grill.. it doesn't look out of place at all
