undercarriage damage

hey so i got into an accident the other day, slid on some ice and managed to slam into a telephone pole at 40. it coulda been much worse, thankfully im fine and the car wasnt totaled (and no cops came :smt023 ). however, now theres a bit of camber to the back wheels, and im not sure what parts im going to need or what they are even called.i want to do the work myself with my dad, otherwise i wouldnt even need to do this. thanks!

Cant tell just based on those photos. Post some photos of the rest of the car and the damage so we can try to imagine where the force of impact was and the components that would have been most likely to bend.

The stock endlinks are bendy plastic, so I think it will be just fine to reuse, unless there's a crack in it I can't see.

looks like the rear driver arm is bent (the one that the endlink bolts to)

Just get a big freaking hammer and bend it back! I have done that a few dozen times, they bend right back. The rest of the car underneath I'm betting is fine.

OUCH! From the pictures I can tell that the lateral rods are definitively bent.

From what I can give as advice would be to jack up the rear end, take both rear wheels off, and see if anything is bent/damaged. Check for clean spots of metal where dirt might of been disturbed due to the accident. More then likely you might of bent the rear knuckle, and possibly the strut. While you are replacing the knuckle you should also replace the wheel bearing. $50 at a local auto parts store, and one less worry is out of your mind. When I slid into a curb I did just that, and I'm glad I did. The old bearing was shot to due the removal and re installation into the new knuckle.

alright so i finally got a chance to get it up on jackstands, and as far as i can see, all i need is an anti sway bar (meaning i have an excuse to upgrade to 22mm whitelines hehehe) and the rear lateral bar(somehow the front one is perfectly straight..not complaining tho). the endlinks dont appear to be damaged but i may just buy them to improve handling a little bit. but now i have another issue... im too lazy to rip apart the other side of the interior and i noticed as i pulled the sound deadener off that the strut tower appears to be warped and im not sure if this is just how they look or what.

oh and also, wheres a good, reliable place to order parts from? i was going to use rockauto but their site layout was awful and hurting my eyes and then i saw some bad reviews about wrong parts being sent and i cant afford that. any suggestions? ive found one called partsgeek.com, but i cant seem to find the part so are there different names for it? is it the same as a trailing arm?

stop wasting your time. Go to a junkyard and pull a COMPLETE REAR KNUCKLE WITH STRUT AND LATERAL RODS.

Your strut is most likely bent, your rear lateral rod is bent, front is probably tweaked. Wheel bearing is toast. You are not pulling the long bolt that attaches the lateral rods to the knuckle. If you are not confident in changing these items out then practice out at a junkyard.

/\ This. Replacing 1 strut with a new one along with all the other bent parts wouldnt be the cheapest or best option for you.
