Hi there my name is neil and im from sunderland uk I own a subaru legacy 1997 I have just give it a service and drained the rad everythink seemed fine but what I have noticed is that im using loads of water out of the resivour its not over heating theres no water mixing with oil and no oil mixing with water could enyone tell me whats happing

do you have an external leak, so the coolant is just leaking out on the ground or on the crossmember/exhaust?

Sounds like the system didnt get burped vary well, or what was said above...

What engine does your car have? Sounds like a HG issue if it's an EJ25.

But definitely make sure the coolant system doesn't just have air in it.
