Welcome to SLi Aaron.
You have one of the most reliable examples that Subaru has blessed North America with. That EJ22E SOHC is almost bullet proof... The 5-speed combo is just the icing on the cake.
A little heads up.. Your car is based off a Gen 1 & Gen 2 Impreza.. So spending a bit of time on SLi will show you how interchangable these cars really are.
Its amazing how just a set of black RS/WRX wheels really makes the entire car look more aggressive.
I wish you the best of luck with your goals and aspirations.. Take some time and click on the Download links in my sig. Your vehicle service manual is located there.
FYI.. if you plan on taking on any mechanical swaps or tasks keep in mind that this is your daily driver so do the research and take your time.

Great to see another WA guy here! Looks like you might have been the guy that got the wheels from ags18 (Andrew)
Looks like someone didnt use adhesion promoter on your bumper when it got replaced...
And yeah, they can stock on some 98-99 Non-GT's...

Thanks Chuck
So far I absoulutly love the car and everything about it!! It's been super reliable, super easy to work on, and its the perfect car to learn and master how to drive stick.
I didn't know that my model legacy was based on the gen 1 and 2 imprezas!! Thats great to know! We have a local scrapyard in town that gets way more imprezas than legacies. and the parts are super cheap.
I was so suprised on how the wheels made the car pop, the best $300 I've think i have ever spent. Powdercoated black too!!! I've gotten so many compliments on them from people i know and complete strangers. I'm glad i went with these 2003 wrx 16"s
And I'm so blessed that in the summer my dad gives me the option to drive his truck, since he rides his motorclycle, so any big swaps, or just maintainance will definatly be happening when i can use the truck. so i can get the job done right the first time, and not have to worry about time constraints.
Thank you Chuck!!

I'm kinda going to answer to everybody's post all at once here.
So, I'm in spokane, so eastern washington
The bumper is actually not the bumper that came from the factory on the car. It's actually an aftermarket one. It's kinda vague but I'm assuming that one of the previous owners got in to a small crash( rear ended someone, hit a deer, somwthing like that) And he instead of going factory replacement he went with the style off of the GT models. (which i prefer) And when the bumper was painted, it wasn't prepped right. The bumper wasn't sanded down so the adhesion promotor in the paint didn't really have anything to stick to. and according to the previous owner, it just started to peal away this last year.
And my wheels, they are OEM 2003 WRX 16". I picked them up for $300 with tires that have more tread on them than the ugly little factory 14". I got them from a guy that had them on his Subaru 2.5rs and he had them powdercoated black. and they were a fantastic deal and I'm so very happy that i bought them!!!

HEY! I got a set of those wheels on my '91 sedan-took them off my '91 wagon- didn't want to ruin them in the winter.

Are those the UR mudflaps? I want your rims!
That bumper might be aftermarket, but I think it's not like, a custom aftermarket bumper, but a replacement-style aftermarket.
