Ive been looking for some side skirts from a GTB etc to put on my BD and its proving very difficult. I find some every now and then but they wont ship to Australia ?_?. I have noticed a lot of gen 3 skirts for cheaper and wondered if anyone had tried fitting them to a gen 2. Im guessing the gen 3 is longer, but the wheel base is only different by 20mm so it cant be that bad.
Any ideas?

If I get time, I can take a look at my BH and my BD and see what the difference in distance is. I think someone has done it, but I cant remember who.

Okin Davanh did it. He plastic welded a pair of BE side skirts - they had to be shortened.

Ok, let me know if you have any other questions. You WILL run into a few more problems, then just the length... Like how to keep the bottom secure as well as the wheel openings. It not as easy as it looks, but not all that hard with propper planning. Good luck!
