Snagged a 95 Blue Iris Metallic Legacy L wagon for $830. I'll try to get pics up tomorrow. It has 252k, EJ22, pours oil out very fast which I'm thinking will be an easy fix, and is in quite good condition otherwise. It runs well despite the oil leaks.

Plans are to restore it to original condition. It will be my mom's daily driver. I'd like to delete the hill holder and ABS, but have to wait and see.

I think this is going to be fun.

Thats a good deal. Ever figured out the oil problem?

Also you should leave the hill holder/abs since it will be for your mom.

Looks like front main seal and valve cover gaskets to start. Probably the oil pan seal after that. Some of it is probably ATF too, since the power steering reservoir is empty.

Today I took the fans, crankshaft pulley, timing covers off the car, and fixed the hood latch so it will stay closed. Then I had lunch and it started to rain. Took the grill inside for Plasti-Dipping, and the headlights for restoration.

We're all pretty much indifferent to the hill holder. One of the rear brakes likes to drag sometimes, and if that's related to it in some way it would be easier to remove it than make it work right.

ABS probably will stay. I just don't like it.

Should I make a thread in Member Rides I?

Yes you should make a ride thread. So we can see the progression

And done. Thanks for replying, revenge.

Ride thread (https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26744) supercedes this thread.
