96 vs 99

My son has a 96 Subaru Legacy Outback and he's interested in purchasing a 99 for parts. Is this going to work for him, or is he wasting his time?

Everything will both in, but there are a few things that are different.

The only big difference would be motor and trans, but they can be fitted if you have all the parts and have a little time...

ya usually 96 - 99 all fit.
