Since this really turned into a separate meet from the SL-i MD meet, I figured it deserved it's own thread.

It really turned out to be a nice day on Sunday, even if it was pretty breezy. It was nice to get all 4 D-type cars together in one place for some photos and some minor shenanigans.

MrLancaster's 5th Gen felt a little outnumbered...

Yes, I took a picture of "just" my car and the S401.. so sue me.

Okay, I am done with the post for now. I have a panoramic that I will work on later, but I cannot do that until I get home, since all the segment pictures are on my laptop there.

And to have limited to no aftermarket in an underpowered should have been turbo car

My H6 is not underpowered. It has what now I like to call.. "Passing confidence."

Although, you are very right about the lack of aftermarket for the drivetrain. But, I would think that this thread serves as proof that there is an "aftermarket" for many other aspects of the car.

That first one really shows the depth difference between the USDM and JDM bumper. I guess I did not get that shot after all. It is a pretty big difference.

Yeah, they aren't underpowered, just old. Even a turbo car is going to be "underpowered" if it's older....

Having said that, we found out that some cars age worse than others... :-(

I was referring to the 2.5, and the automatic 3.0 isnt exactly a performance car either..

Actually, I was talking about the H6s too. But now re-reading what I wrote, I see it looks like I was talking about the S401.
The H6s had 220hp, just 6hp shy of the WRX of those years. That's all I was trying to say.

Those H6's are rather quick.

The meet looked great guys! All those third gens are fresher than fresh.

And it isn't billed as one but that won't stop me from stomping your whatever on the freeway.

Partly a  but also a little bit of a :-?

My USDM BE made 242/260 whp/wtq with a failing turbo (that failed last thursday  ).

Dont get me wrong, I like the 3.0. I wish they made them with a manual trans.. would have been a pretty kickass package! Theres nothing that sounds even close to a flat 6.
