View Full Version : Front End lights....what are my options?

I have a 99LGT that has had a mildly jacked front end for a little while now.

I just scored a workable SUS bumper at the local U-Pull Yard for $40 (No Fogs), So I'd like to go ahead and replace all my lights in the process. (Yes, headlights, corners, and fogs all have either super yellowed, busted tabs, etc)

Basically, I'd like to know what my options are, or if someone could direct me to a thread that explains it. I did a little searching, and didn't have a lot of luck.

I was planning to just pick up some ebay replacements, and call it a day, but I figured there may be some better options out there for the money. While I'd love to do the FX projectors and all that jazz, it seems pricey, and more than I'd like to spend.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Buy a jdm one piece headlight (its has a projector already). It probably cost the same as buying headlights/corner lights for yours. It will be a night and day difference. Plus its cool! lol
As far as fogs, they have jdm fogs for the GT bumper (have to mod the bumper/bracket) or you can find replacement fogs for the SUS/Outback bumper on ebay

Check out members rides 1 for many examples (and theres alot) :)

Wow, you're right, I think that's definitely what I'll be getting. Do they bolt right in? What about wiring?

Lastly, what's the best HID kit for the money?

I apologize for the questions, I tried to search, but i'm on my phone, and navigating forums sucks.

Yes they bolt right up. Check out the DIY topic on this site on how to wire it otherwise they sell the plug and play connector for it.

As far as HID kit, its people's preference. I use ebay hid kits and it works.
