Any Good for the Price?

Hey guys im still very new to this forum and to the Suby scene, I was curious if this would be a good affordable way to lower my 96 Legacy OUtback?

They will fit.
They are direct bolt on..
The front camber plates are useless since you have to rotate them and will look like this

They should be straight .. but not the end of the world.

Honest opinion is that these coilovers have unknown specs.. spring rate / dampening specs ...

So yes this is one affordable way to lower your car but ride quality will probably be junk and these are "probably" rebranded raceland (chinese ebay) coilovers.

I haven't seen many positive reviews of Rokkors. There are a lot of people who seem to be happy with the Racelands.

Thanks, After reading that I am very disappointed with some peoples response I didnt see him say they were just as good as 2k Coils lol. I in all honesty am just looking for a way to bring my Outback lower to the ground without spending an arm in the leg. I dont AutoX or Rally I just want a nice looking Ride with Decent ride doesnt have to be the smoothest you know.

racelands do seem to get more love, i'd go that route for the price. i dont understand why raceland wont just put a package together with GC fronts and GD rear coils so there is something for the 2nd gens that is budget, but at least allows for the camber plates to be used.

ya man. get impreza wrx wagon (or even sedan just be sure to purchase spacers) front and rear struts/springs from the years 2002 - 2005.

they bolt right up.

then its a simple process of hacksawing your existing brake lines free and zip tying them to wrx bracket thingys.

boom! instant 3 or 4 inch drop looks amazing and handles like a dream. just might want to go with slimmer tires

i was in your position of wanting to lower a 1996 outback

and i was so turned off by all the raceland/cheap coilovers. i read so many threads and the gist of all them (to me) was "cheap coilovers are just that. cheap coilovers"

so thats why i turned to the wrx stuff. because its cheaper and oem, easy to source, rides comfortable yet extremely responsive and was a dramatic improvement compared to my aging stock outback stuff.

just an idea for you if you didnt realize that stuff bolts up
