My car is throwing about 12 codes I would list every single one but i dont have the list in front of me.
What I am looking for is where i can get o2 sensors for my car that dont cost $150-200. I was thinking universal but have seen alot of bad reviews (allthough i have them on my daily driver and they are fine) 4 of the codes im throwing have something to do with the O2 sensors.

The only difference (usually) between universal and vehicle-specific sensors are the plug. If you get a universal Bosch sensor, and splice the 3 wires, you'll be in business.

ill give it a shot and see what happens worse case is i just go OEM.

I'm guessing the codes u have must be something along the lines of misfires, random, misfires, o2 codes, cat codes, evap emmission, and some of the above repeated as pending and/or confirmed.

Whoa... there is a lot of stuff there that dont seem to be O2 sensor related.
If you do go with a universal... just cut the plug off of your old 02 sensor and splice it onto your new plug.

Yeah its going to be a fun project to make this a daily.

Lol I got almost half of them right! Anyways it misfire will cause the o2 sensor to go off because its not burning the fuel it's supposed to be. I'd start at the plugs, wires, and coil pack. Hopefully that'll clear the o2 code depending on how long u been running it in its condition Ur cooling problem could be the actual coolant temperature sensor itself or it could be u need a new thermostat.

I had this happen awhile ago, and one of my buddies who knows more about cars than I do explained it to me (what happened in my case anyway). The light came on when I was at about 5k rpm. He said that sometimes, the engine might be fooled into thinking it is being pushed too hard, and it will throw a bunch of codes. I'm not sure of the specifics, but I got these exact codes. He told me simply clearing them would be fine, as they were set off by accident, and not due to an actual malfunction. After resetting, I had no troubles until about 6 months later when my O2 sensor needed to be replaced. Not sure if the two instances were related or not but I put on quite a few miles in between the two check engine lights.

I'll clear em and see what happens unfortunately the CEL bulb is busted so i need to replace that first so i dont have to plug it in everyday.

The CEL bulb (along with all of the other indicator bulbs in the cluster) are bulb type 74. Might as well get enough to replace all of the indicators.
If the CEL is burned out, chances are more are as well, or are about to be.

Napa autozone or advance auto. Don't matter those are common parts in all stores

Went to Autozone today...They had no idea what i was talking about with the bulbs...its always fun when you can teach the people at autozone more about cars...They didnt even know they made bulbs that small.
Anyways. I bought a OEM o2 sensor through Autozone also picked up some other stuff that i thought would clear some codes. I got it inspected today and it only failed due to the codes and some exhaust leaks.

Yea, it is sad that most of the time when you go to a car parts store.. the people know nothing about cars, nevermind the parts they are selling. Of course there are the rare exceptions to that.
You would think that the companies would be a little more selective about who they hire, but hey.. thats why I generally buy on the website and just use the stores for pickup.

Lol before working at aap I used to go to autozone and its awesome when they give u the look like a deer in headlights before they get struck. Smh we have a person like that now at my job. I'm still wondering as to who's dick he sucked to get the job. I kno at aap they're actually out on the floor in the headlight section. All in numerical order.

I told the person it was a type 74 bulb and he responded with ohh we dont carry those.....I went over to the bulbs and not only did they have them in clear....They had them in Blue red purple and i think blacklight type lol

Next time ask them for apex seals for a small block chevy... or rod bearings for a Mazda rx-7.
Good parts guys are becoming a rarity.

Lmao rod bearings in a rotary. Haven't heard that yet. Make sure to grab a jug of bonkers fluid and also some muffler bearings. And the conifiling pins to hold them bearings in. While it there see if u can have them find a radiator for a 60s beetle. And be stern about this stuff too lol. Have a friend video record this priceless stuff

Ok so i have gone from all those codes above to just the following 3:
P0447 Evap Emission Control system vent Control circuit open
P0691 Cooling fan 1 Control Circuit Low
P1443 Evap Emission Control System Vent control function problem.
I have replaced pretty much the whole evap system so i dont know what to do now. And as for the Fan circuit i replaces all the relays/sensors and the thermostat.
Any ideas how to get past this point im ready to pull my hair out!

Sounds like a grounding issue to me if you have two systems giving circuit codes.
