Here is the official Subaru release from the NY auto show. I've heard mixed things about the design, but I personally love it. I really wouldn't mind having one of these in my driveway one day.

Almost makes me want to skip the BRZ!
I like the lines, most of them. They made it more aggressive looking, kind of like the original Impreza. And most of all, the ugly wheel arches are gone!

Also, apparently Subaru calls the color "WRB2". Creative, right? It has a carbon fiber roof, as well.

I'm sure some will show up from official news outlets soon, but I don't have any from the actual unveiling above. I've only seen the rear in the renderings that got leaked yesterday.

It looks okay for a street car but I could never see this on a rally stage

I don't understand what looks have to do with rally. It doesn't need to look like a rally car to perform like a rally car. Heck, Top Gear even rallied a Bentley Continental GT and still managed to not come in last. That is probably the furthest looking car from an actual rally car.

I wasn't saying that it couldn't perform on a rally but rather the looks wasn't what I think of as a rally car. which is the same story for the Bentley, while it was able to perform it doesn't look like a rally car. I agree that looks have nothing to do with performance I was simply stating an opinion.

First Subaru design that I didn't hate at first. I really like it.
Still, it is only a concept so far right? Hope they actually make it.

This is the first Subaru concept since the 05' LGT (minus the brz) that I like

I thought it was ugly at first, but I'm warming up to it.

Saw it in person, I def like it, but there are a lot of things about it that will prob not make it to production; they did get the proportions right with this one, which is one of my biggest problems with the 5th gen Legacy. Surprise me Subaru, surprise me!
I get the feeling the production version will be a little less flashy. The carbon roof's my first pick for 'things that get axed before production.'

The side view mirrors and plastic green WRX badge rank above the roof on things to get axed for me. And as much as I would hate to see it go, I think the green exhaust tips might not last either.
