Ball joint install woes

I'm having trouble INSTALLING my lower ball joints. Getting them out was bad, but this is just irritating. I've read my Haynes manual, my Chilton manual, and all of the internet sources I can find, but I still can't find any advice. I'm just trying to get the ball joint into my steering knuckle, but it won't go in. I've even tried heating my knuckle. Nothing. Advice?

LIttle bit hard to visualize the problem... are you sure they're the correct fitment? I'm also not 100% if they are L-R orientated either.

You could try loosening the upper strut mount bolts and that'll allow you some wiggle room from up top.

Nevermind. My knuckle just cracked. I have to replace it.
