02 wrx springs on stock 99 lgt struts

I just bought some brand new 02 wrx lowering springs for 50 bucks, will they go right onto my stock struts or do i need the rear top hats? PLEASE HELP

I believe u need the front top hats and if the rears I'm not to sure of I had a bk not a bd :/

Your going to need the rear tophats from a WRX for the rear. Are you running a wagon or a sedan? You can reuse the tophats from the Legacy for the front struts.

I put STi springs on my legacy bilsteins at one point.
What you need is the rear top hats like everyone is saying, 02-07 wrx or sti rear top hats should work.
You also need a wrx or sti front spring perch. The perch and the top hat are separate pieces in the front. If you don't want to reuse your stock front top hats you can use the top hats from a wrx or sti as well, 02-07, other years can work as well.

You can probably get away with using the legacy front spring perches actually. Legacy and impreza front spring perches are just a little bit different, but not different enough for impreza springs to seat in legacy perches I think.

Would 04 sti rear top hats work? cause i can get some for $40 and also i have a sedan.
