10th Annual SLi New England meet!! August 10th 2013

This is the official thread so please try to keep posts to about the meet only. This is a special year, this will be the 10th year I held this thing, I think only one year was kind of blah, but every other year was great! I wanted to try to plan something special this year for being the 10th year. But it's going to be hard to top a rare showing of Yamazakis S401. If anyone have ideas or what not feel free to pm me.

The meet will be held at Colt State park In Bristol RI at 11am (I'll try to be there early lol). The meet will last till everyone takes off. Some years the majority of us didn't part ways till 8pm. We keep it simple, we show up, hang out, BS and meet some of the people we got to know over time on SLi. Some bring chairs and we kick the shit, some people bring food and drinks, some of us make a quick run to Wendys up the road. Come by for however long you want, say hi and show off your car and check out the rest of the rides!

My flight was about $400-500 round trip... If I remember right, Yamazaki spent over half that in fuel for the S401... It adds up fast. I would love to bring it, but it's just not logical.

It should be noted that the S401 uses much more expensive gas than normal, but your point still stands, especially from the west coast to east coast.

I'm a former Nissan enthusiast myself. I've always disliked Hondas just overrated cars. My first car when i was 16 was a 94 sentra and my last car was a 90 300zx and that was about 5 years ago. That's when I converted to Subaru. So if I was ever to leave the subie scene I'd go back to a Nissan.
