High beam bulb on the BL

Hey
I was going to replace my high beam bulb today, so i went and bought an HB3 as it says in the manual.
However when i tried to replace it i found out that i have an H9 instead.
It's said everywhere that it should be HB3 and not H9.
How could it be?

Hmm. I see you in Israel, so I don't know if they are different... But when I checked my BL ('05 USDM) it says 9005(HB3) or H7s, depending on high or low beam. I believe the H9 can be modified (I think...) to fit the HB3 socket for get "more" wattage out of the socket. Are you the original owner? I don't know if that helps any... As an alternative for the high beams, I have heard several people like the HiRs. (http://www.HIRheadlights.com) Hope that helps some.
