I've been off-site for a couple months now, and boy have I been busy! Unfortunately during my time away my phone took a dive in to the river and with it went ALL of my photos documenting the rebuild. :smt010 I'm trying to track down one of the SD cards used during the rebuild. with any luck it'll have most the pics. Fingers crossed.

Thanks man! She's far from done, and she'll only get cleaner as time goes on. Haha.

I can't answer that question quite yet, I'm currently waiting for the motor to come back from the machine shop. They're taking longer than expected. I have Crower stage two cams on my Accord and they make her quite the lil beast (V8's make good snacks). Seeing as the Delta cams are only stage one, I'm expecting a mild increase in torque and acceleration at around 3 grand that'll stay constant through the higher RPM's. Once I get the motor back, this week hopefully, and installed I'll give you my opinion. But do note I'm going to be running the cams with a lightened flywheel as well.

Thank you! Do you want total invested since purchase? Grand total including purchase? Total of aftermarket performance parts installed? Or purchase price?

lol good question, both? how much ur aftermarket cost so far?
So far upwards of $2,500 in parts alone. There's still the exhaust line to come once the motor is back in and running.
I'll write up a general cost per part after the exhaust.

I know. I'd be jealous too. I kid I kid. Serious though thank you. In all honesty I just got a shitty turn of luck that I managed to turn around. I only had the car three months before the rod bearing for piston #3 destructed, I haven't driven it since. :smt009
also nice dead pedal(s)
They look so much better in person! Steve from SMK_FABRICATION did a awesome job, there was even a mishap with the first order and he took care of it immediately. No hassle what so ever. If he does another production run I fully plan to order at least one more.
nice ride ecoflame.
Thanks man! When are you going to make a MR of your own? Haha.

All thanks to you! Seriously thank you so much for not wanting these.

ouch.. Sorry to hear that. I think I was looking to buy a car extremely similar to urs just with 119k miles for 6250 but I called and it was gone. Was an awesome 03 BE gt limited 5 spd. Same color too.
Also I wasn't sure about the dead pedals but seeing them here really makes me think I would like them. Thought it may look.. Odd I guess

Eh it's ok, I'm used to this kinda thing happening to cars I like. :smt005 The day I admit my love :smt007 is the day they die. :smt010
Ha, too funny. I like your color. If I ever painted it, white would be one of the few colors I'd consider.
I was a lil worried about the SPT pedal but it's turned out to be my favorite so far. I'm thinking of going with a general SPT theme. :smt025

Ty, I like it in white. Idk but I think white is sexy on the car so to say.. Not on all cars obviously, but I really like how it makes the car look. Maybe its because it gives it such a clean look possibly? Less is more maybe? Idk but on the right car I really like white paint. Maybe it would look even better if i got some tinted windows to contrast the white even more.
Ur silver looks awesome too! Especially on Subaru's i feel as well.

04-12-2013, 12:44 PM
Yea definitely tint your windows, makes a night and day difference. Lol. Especially on white cars.
Visually I agree less is better. My Honda's a sleeper, and there are so few BE's around my area only people who know the car will be able to tell it's been modified.
Neatfellen
04-12-2013, 02:09 PM
For sure, how much did u pay to get urs tinted? wonder if I could find a similar price around here. was that a reasonable price as well? and also only have very few BE's here as well so similar situation here.
ecoflame
04-12-2013, 04:14 PM
It was $125 roughly. I had the dealer set it up before purchase so it was rolled up in the final sale price. The weekend after I purchased the Legacy I took it to a shop they trusted. $125 is pretty average around my area.
Neatfellen
04-12-2013, 08:02 PM
not to bad, Yeah I would have a shop do it, I wouldn't wanna mess with a DIY setup for tint, to many ways to screw it up and or leave those really annoying bubbles. Seen to many that did not go well or as easily as thought, rather have a place do it and have it look professional.
ecoflame
04-12-2013, 09:48 PM
That was my mentality. If it messes up I can take it to them and say "fix it." Lol. I'm actually going to once the motor is back in, there's a spec of something on the driver side window. :smt013
Neatfellen
04-12-2013, 10:44 PM
Haha that's the nice thing about paying a pro to do it.. U don't have to deal with a mistake urself, cuz those things be a pain in the ass to fix
