I want more aggressive seats but I don't want to raise my seating position like most seats do and racing seats are expencive, cheapest ones I could find that are reclining are about $250-$300.

Do they make lower brackets for WRX seats? How hard would it be do put something like Dodge SRT-4 seats in? I can get the for $50 a piece from junk yards.

They make wrx brackets that lower the seats an inch or so maybe 2". They're about $300+ for the brackets alone.

the racing brackets are about $100 per side. the flat plate types will lower your seating position below stock if you're using a legit bucket seat as the padding on those seats tend to be thinner than stock.

I'm confused, what brackets am I looking for? I've wanted to put in 2.5RS or WRX seats but even those aren't that agressive that's why I was looking at seats but the cheapest one I have find is the Corbeau A4 and it's still over $300, If I went fixed back I could go with the Forza or FX1 but idk how good of an idea that is? So I was thinking about Dodge SRT-4 seats or maybe some Evo/Ion Redline/Cobalt SS Recaros? But what would it take to make those fit?

People probably want a pretty penny for older JDM/EDM Subaru Recaros?

How aggressive are WRX/STi (04-07 they are the same right?) seats and can I install but somehow not raise my seating position?

I installed a corbeu seat in my subaru and used their brackets, the combination of the seat and brackets lowered me maybe a good 1 3/4in alone.
