so i came across this supercharger and it got me wondering does any one think that these could be used on engines other then the frs/brz boxer engines?

Of course it can be made to work. I'm guessing the width of that manifold is significantly different on our EJ's, otherwise, simple adapter plates could be made.
Would it clear the hood though?

Eh. Hood holes stopped looking good in 1985.

That 'splains a thing or three...
You would probably need matching fuel rails, and don't forget that unless your car is drive by wire.. you'd have to figure out a way to get the throttle cables to work effectively in reverse. You'd also have to worry about whether your car is map or maf based as that doesn't look like it incorporates a map bung.
Then again its just a picture, and when it comes to auto parts they're normally wronf.
