The last sale was the hardest one to swallow - sometimes your family's needs have to come before your own.

Not a bad run though. Still have some fun vehicles though.

no pics of my first two, and sure you all have seen my last two..

First was a 1988 Dodge Dakota. 2.9l V6 MT RWD. Sold to buy a 1994 Cavalier RS (yes, the one with the 3100 V6). Realized how badly that sucked in snow and bought my 1995 Legacy L for its AWD. Then the BD was in need of many small repairs, so I traded for the 2002 Legacy GT I currently have  Thinking about getting a turbo Legacy in the next year if my promotion goes through

Actually, I claim my red Legacy is my first car, but technically it isn't.

I bought a 1987 Mazda 626, similar to the one pictured here, but in blue:

I bought it from an auction for $625, sent it to a mechanic (I wasn't too handy then) and put $700 into it, drove it for 3 days, and then an old hag ran a red light right into my driver's door. After a long string of BS with the insurance (she went to the MAYOR to try to make it my fault), I got $1900 and they let us keep the car, which I sold for $250. 3 months later, the day before I started my junior year of high school, I bought my red Legacy...

And the rest is history

my first car is the 96 cavalier z24 pictured (which i crashed while drifting (which im not good at))

the car kicked ass cause i could get it to slide easily on pavement, but then i learned the joys of awd, subarus, and rally

isnt there another thread like this?

ive had

a 78 bmw 320i, which had a full suspension package and some engine work, although i had to rebuild the engine prior to driving it. I ran it into a concrete pillar while pretending a 16yo could drift.

2 2wd manual toyota pickups, a 77 and and 84, the 84 was constantly breaking- both were pretty fun though, in their ways

an 82 dodge van with 3sp manu OD. that thing was pimp- it got 18 mpg, 0-60 in 25 seconds, and had a fridge and carpet floor and bed

88 mitsu starion was pretty damn fast at 17 psi, but handled scarily.

the legacy ive had for 6 years now and put almost 60k on.

Yes, yes there is. If I could transplant these posts into that one I would.

But please, people, post in the other thread. I believe it's stickyed in Member's Rides II.

Thanks.
