2.) Will 14 in. steelies clear the brakes on a 2001 Legacy L wagon?

1: 150-250, at least over here.... No tires, or bad tires. Good tires, 200-400.
2: No, they will not.
Okay, thank you very much. Now to find some 15 inch steelies with halfassed decent tires.
A coworker of mine is willing to sell me his 'flakes wearing baaaald tires for $75 plus steels with decent tread tires.

Buy the flakes. Sandblast, paint and roll.

You can go with 15" steelies on an '01. But if you decide you want to upgrade to the bigger 02+ Legacy/WRX/03+ Forester front brakes, you'll need 16s.
Beleive me, he's never going to touch his car other than to finish the butchering job his mother began. She drove it like she stole it, and he drives it for Dominos.
I may wind up buying it after he gets something new. Mechanically, it's pretty decent, but the body is trashed. No rust that I can tell, but there's not a straight panel on the thing. Which means, I won't have to worry about hitting stuff off-roading.
I have a set of good snowflakes and tires ill let go..

on legacygt.com someone was selling a 9/10 condition wise, set of snowflakes for 300 with no tires.
i love my snowflakes! IMO its one of the nicest stock wheels.
Aaaaactually, I just put my new set on. Did exactly what I threatened in my last post, and bought the whole car. It's the one Rkrenicki and I are parting out. And since we've basically broken even on the car already, they were free.
Sorry to hack you thread,Muse,
according I found a set snowflake rims with quick question.
screwed up, will they clear front 00-04outback's brake and rear H6's brake ?
If clear I will pick this classical rims.
They will. they're 16" wheels. The brakes on the 2003-4 Legacy are the same as all H6 third-gens, so they'd have to clear them.

cool! I'll try on mine soon . last weekend, junk yard charged me $120 for set with some curb rash and scratch then I left out.
$120's not a terrible price.
