Legacy seat covers on RS seats?

So I currently have black Impreza RS front seats with gray leather back seats in the wagon. I am trying to figure out if the leather seat covers from a 2nd gen Legacy would fit the Impreza seats. Has anyone tried this?

seems like with different padding they wouldn't or if they do squuze on, it might look bunchy.

BUT, have you pulled either cover off? If so is it easy? I'm planning to pull the covers off my legacy seat to put on an outback seat (heated seat mod). With a quick glance, it seems like a do-able mod, but i would be a little skeptical of going from legacy onto an RS for a factory looking cover swap. . . .
