I just picked up a complete EJ20G for my BC5 but i want to fix it up before i put it in.
The engine type is :EJ20GNW1BA

I need all the seals on the engine.
HG's
Oilpanseal
Rocker arm cover seal
valve stem seals
camshaft seals
intake manifold seal
exhaust manifold seal
and piston rings.

Any other thoughts on things i should do while i have the engine in pieces?
It has 221000Km's on it so things are going to break in the near future.
Timing belt and water pump was done a few weeks ago, and the turbo needs to be replaced.

You may want to rehone the cylinders... really your tear down and rebuild is pretty much the same as any EJ20-EJ25... just replace all the seals, and make sure stuff is where it should be, and not where it shouldn't. :)

I'd be concerned about rings, cylinders, and the balance of the crank. Cams could get a once over too.

Cylinders will be honed and rings will be replaced.
Check the values of the cams and crank, check the bearings.

Question is, what fits?

You want to get ahold of a Service Manual from Subaru.
That'll list your OEM part numbers. Then you can make your shopping list and go from there.

You can get a lot of the seals and stuff from subarupartsforyou.com. They are pretty helpful too if you email them. Or if you want super cheap, http://1stsubaruparts.com/ but it will take a while longer to get your order together. When my engine was rebuilt, thats where i got em from. I've bought a lot of stuff from subarupartsforyou.com too thought.
