Just wanted to introduce my project car. I bought her a year or so ago and I'm just now getting around to getting active on the forums. I was hoping to have had time by this point to coerce a buddy (who happens to have some high-dollar photography gear) to take some nice pictures of it, but there's never enough hours in the day, right?

She's a 1997 BMW M3, Boston Green Metallic paint on Magma interior. When I bought it, it had a little less than 77,000 miles and IMMACULATE maintenance history. She's also obscenely clean cosmetically. On purchase, there were 3 major flaws: the steering wheel has its typical sun damage, the headliner was sagging horribly, and the rear bumper has a 2" gouge in it that can't easily be seen until you're super close to it (it doesn't even show up in the pictures). The headliner has since been replaced and looks fantastic!

I've recently done a few mods: Rogue Engineering DMS catback, 3.5" intake and MAF, traction control delete (and 3.5" TB boot), 24lb/hr fuel injectors, a stage 2 DME reflash, and some maintenance. Soon to come? MOAR MAINTENANCE! Cooling system needs to be rebuilt :smt030

And here's one under the hood, I think the intake setup turned out pretty slick. Apparently that airbox seal wants to be glued down :smt019

Thanks man! I love the color combo. I always really wanted an Estoril, but I wouldn't trade my Boston/Magma for anything!

I'm seriously thinking about coming out, once it gets closer I'll see about getting the time off work. Its only about 1.5 hours to get out there, so definitely doable.

I swear there's a correlation between Legacy owners and Boston Green E36's or Boston Green for that matter! Lol I had a 328i and 318Ti, both Boston Green and after my 1st Legacy. However, I owned a 325is way before my Subaru. I like it.

Haha nice! Like I say, I was always partial to Estoril/Avus, but fell for Boston as soon as I saw it in person!

Ps...Got any M50 manifolds laying around you want to part with? :lol:

I have plenty of parts, but no manifolds. Why would you want one tho? That S50 intake has a better flow iirc.
Anyways,
Most are new in box maintenance parts for old 328i M52 like front wheel bearings, an inner ball joint etc... I stocked up on them, as they are usually what's goes most. I also have spare interior pieces from both cars, Inpro headlights (glass, 1 has a chip and both need to be wired), and for $1k Staggered 17" x8.5 and 9.5 OZ Mitos. :)
