the leather in my 97 legacy gt is pretty worn, especially the driver's seat. Both the drivers seat and the back seat have tears, wondering if anyone has creative solutions to this problem. I'm really not a fan of tacky seat covers, and it's hard to find any that fit well. Anyone know if they sell replacement leather and where I might find it?? Not sure I want to spend the big bucks for new upholstery work.

are tears at the seams or on material?

Buy another set of used seats that arent ripped. All other forms of repair are going to look shoddy and or will not last long.

Just keep your eyes open and you can probably find a nice used set of leather seats for $100-$200.

If I see them I'd definitely buy them...finding a needle in a haystack you guys know how it is with these cars. Thanks for the help though.

I recently picked up a set of leather seats and door cards for mine like a month ago for about $200. Just look around and find a junkyard with lots of Subaru's....that's how I ended up getting mine.
