Exhaust Interchangability???

The previous owner of my legacy wagon welded on a universal "fart can" it is extremely loud and drones at cruising speed so normal conversation is impossible.

My question is, What oem axle backs will easily fit on the car. I have a welder but no time right now to fab something up so im hoping there is an easy bolt on/clamp on rear section for now.

Is the exhaust stock except for the muffler welded on? There should be a flange to put the stock axleback portion back on

I only took a quick look when i purchased it. it appeared to be just the can welded on where the stock muffler should be. i'll have to check for the flange tomorrow.
