I managed to get myself to WBM this year, even if I was a few hours late. It had an impressive amount of cars, however at least 85% of them were Imprezas/WRXs/STIs.. Not that that is a horrible thing, I was just hoping for more Legacies/Outbacks or even Foresters.

I did find cglock25's car in the sea of cars. His was one of three white BHs that I found.

I had my daughter get up on my shoulders and take pictures around where we parked. This is about half of the parking lot in these pictures, and also more than halfway through the meet so many people had left already.

cglock25 found this RHD Legacy GT-B. I am not sure if it is a postal or a LHD 2nd gen converted but it did have a VIN that indicated that the chassis was built at SIA:

There was a hill at the end of the parking lot, so I drove up it and took a few pictures. Unfortunately at this point it was nearly 4pm and most people had left.

Looks like a Postal... The airbag on the pass side gives it away as well as the US side trim. Nice car for sure though. I could be wrong, but I dont think I am.

It does have Digital HVAC, so it is a pretty extensive conversion either way..

I did not notice the door trim, I am surprise with the amount of swapping done on this car that they did not change those out too. The airbag being on top of the dash is a Postal thing? I sort of figured that JDM cars had them that way too.

I did not study the VIN plate too much, so I suppose it could have been swapped on. It was an ISO-type VIN that began with 4S and the engine type was marked as an EJ25D. The chassis code as listed was a BK9 as well.

If you have a half cut, it's an easy conversion.

That is how the postal airbags are on on earlier models. My GT-B only has one bag and if I remember right, the driver bag was an option on the higher end cars.

And if it was a BK9, that means it was a 2.5 low roof (GT) or one really waked out L from the factory that got a 2.5 from the factory... haha. One way or another, it was converted. Nice car either way though!

'97 GT-B had dual airbags (they looked different from the one in those pics though). But it's the flat roof on the car in that picture proves it's from North America.

I was at the subie girls tent all day-MISSED ALL THE NICE FIRST GEN. LEGACYS :( did you see the BRZ06 :) SWEET!!!!! MY TWO FAVS CARS IN ONE PACKAGE!

I came by the subiegirls and scoobiesforboobies tents with my daughter just before you all did the group photo looking for some of the small vinyls. If I knew which one you were, I would have said hi!

I was all the way on the left in the group shot-grey shorts in a white subiegirls tank top-let me know what vinyls you want-I'll bring them to the R.I. meet.

I was just looking for an 8" preferably in white if you have it. I did not see the group shot, but they were talking about it when I took a picture of the Pink Digi-camo WRX that is above. Well, either way.. "hi!" hah.
