Just curious if anyone knows if a set of 02 wrx brakes will fit on my 01 legacy gt

Yes, but you only want the fronts. The 02 WRX fronts are a bigger rotor than the 01 GT. The GT didn't get the bigger rotor until 03. The rears on your GT are actually bigger than the fronts right now. cars101 has all the brake sizes listed under the model years. To upgrade, you really only need a bigger rotor and the caliper bracket, the 2 pot caliper is the same.
