My friend showed me this. I think it defeats the purpose of the car.

It's like the Miatas with big V8s. Fun to look at or think about, but I'd never want one because it wouldn't be as good as the original due to the changes.

There's been a lot of discussion about this. Apparently it didn't upset the balance of the car very much because the 'vette engine isn't much heavier than the FA20. About 60lbs or so heavier. I'm sure the CoG is a bit higher, but supposedly the car is still very balanced.

I respect the work that went into it and all, and it's a good setup... but I'm getting sick of seeing "ermagherd, you'll never believe what we did! We took a [insert car] and totally put a LS in it! LOLRACECAR OMG IT'S OVER 9000!"
F*ck, I'm getting cranky... maybe I need a snickers or something.

I think Crawford's FA20 turbo build is more impressive. They got it to 450 hp and 550 ft/lbs on E85.

Iirc the main reason the did this was because subaru said there was no room in the engine bay for a turbo. So they stuck a longer v8 engine in and it look almost factory with decent room around it. At least that what they where implying with the one at wbm
