Im sure you have all heard this before, and im sorry im saying it again. Is there any place, on this planet or another to get a hold of S401 parts, the head lights, the grille, the badging? anybody got an ear to the ground on anything of this sort? I love that car, its just gorgous, and i dont want to make my own look-a-like, those headlights would be sweet, and the badging would just be for head turning and ear raising apeal! Thanks!

Watch ebay. Those parts show up few and far between, and are expensive when they do. I don't know of anywhere you can just order the stuff.

Scottzg, you like the avatar? Its a little store out side of Grand Junction, CO. My friend thought it would be fitting to snap the picture cause, my last name is Johnson. Go figure!

the S401 stuff is revision D of the BE/BH front end, which never came out in the states.
That means you need all S401:
hood
bumper
fenders
headlights
grille
It'd be hard to source all of this (maybe a front clip?) and probably not worth the cost or time to source it either by ordering a front clip or piecing it together, which would be near impossible, IMO.
But look around on ebay, if you really have your heart set on it.
Personally, I'd work more towards lightening parts of the car, since you own a BH and it's a fat cow ;)

Well, yeah, my sled is a cow. I guess im honestly looking at going two different ways with it. I am either going to slim her down and put take off some of the "outback" stuff, or, im going to beef up the outback personia and put a small lift on it and bigger off road tires. This site has been great for idead on how to make my car look sleek and racey (the DIY part is amazing, and things i really plan on doing), but i cant really find any sites where people actually use there outback and are proud of the badging you know? Does anyone know a site that is more driven towards the outback capabilities? Though ill never trade this site as one of my fav., im always looking for something alittle more, how do i say "rocky mountain flavor"..... oh, and i actually am in the process of buying a 95 Leg, so, ill be sure to post pics as soon as i pick her up!

What year is your OB? I have been looking for an OB bumper. Maybe we can work something out if you are looking to DeOutBack your wagon

Its an 04, but the one thing i really think i would keep would be the bumper, cause of the fogs, they look cool, IMO
