Got rear ended at about 40mph by an 06 Pontiac Torrent on 7-7-13 just after lunchtime. And no I was not at fault and she had plenty of time to see me stopped.

Death is but the next great adventure, right? Now you can look for something new (to you at least).
Sorry about your loss though.

I'm only suffering from soft tissue damage. My back muscles are hurting from the wreck but I am doing physical therapy and have meds. And yes I did get a lawyer.
Honestly? That's less damage than I would have expected from 40mph. Sill, it's a hell of a lot more than you want to see.

The back end is pushed down and in. The lip on the rear fenders is folded in and the corner of the tubs are pressed into the tires in the rear. The exhaust was about half an inch from the ground. The whole back end was also flared out and the roof was pulled down. On top of that they even bent the hell out of my hitch which was just a few inches from the ground. And thats just the damage from her hitting me. Also seems as tho the frame got bent sideways towards the right side just a little and bent up in the middle of the car. But no matter, it still hurt like hell, lol.

this is what happeded to mine last august with my mom driving to work. he is still in pain very close to a year later and we found out about 5 months ago her hips were misaligned and she had damage to her lower back. she is doing aquatic therapy and i am betting it is something she is going to have to live with. i hope that doesn't happen to you but if your seat back broke like mine have them check your lower back/pelvis area.

My seat back didn't break luckily and I only had soft tissue damage. Got an xray to prove that I have no bone damage.
