Hi guys, new member from Australia here. :)
This legacy was my first turbo and my first AWD, i love it and it served as a loyal and faithful steed for many years, but it ended up off the road and without a shed to work in has sat idle for the last couple of years.
Now I've moved and have a big shed to do the work in, but still no budget and not all that much know-how either to be honest :p
We've learned a few things the hard way so far and i'm sure i'll make a lot more mistakes between now and when all is said and done, still, here's to the adventure eh?
Currently it's all looking a little something like this. Took awhile just to get it to this state as when we started we didn't even know about it being a pull type clutch and having to release it first..

At some point in the future i'll start a bit of a thread documenting the build, in the meantime this is a link to the album..

I've actually already got a JDM EJ205 with AVCS and a TD05 sourced to replace the original motor with, after two years of inactivity i'm keen to get the ball rolling quickly and this motor just happened to appear at the same time, so the plan is to wire up a new loom and power it all with a ViPEC Standalone unit and get my Legacy back on the road.
As for the the original EJ20H it's gonna be my first attempt at an engine rebuild, as i put it back together i'm going to block off the redundant oil/water lines for the secondary turbo and prep it for sport duties as a single turbo.
Once that's done project number two is find an impreza shell to hold the EJ20H and start working on a dedicated rally/track car. :)
