What happens if you just toss a turbo on a 99 GT?

Just kinda curious. With no tune or other mods, if you just plumbed the oil and coolant to the turbo and ran like 7psi. How long would it last?

No bump in fuel-pressure, intercooler, or plugs? Probably 'til about the first time you hit 7psi.

Yeah that's about what I figured. I had done it to a 90,s 2.2 years ago and it worked great, untill the fuel pump started to die and burned out #3 cyl.
I was just curious as my buddy wanted to put a turbo on his 99. I told him I had the minimum parts to do it but I couldn't guarantee how well it would work out.
